Michael Rowland

Managing Director, Quantity Surveyor, Construction Manager.

Michael has over 30 years in the construction industry in the UK and New Zealand.  He started as a carpenter and wooden boat builder.  Owning his own business in manufacturing. Later, Quantity Surveying and Project/Commercial Management. 

Micheal has been involved with warranties and defects, earthquake repairs, new builds, renovations, commercial, residential, mass residential housing developments, hospitality, civil and infrastructure.  Michael has great leadership skills including managing a team through various projects from concept to completion.  Michael gains an excellent understanding of each project scope and the roles and responsibilities of the teams involved. 

He acknowledges the strengths and weaknesses of others and acts accordingly.  He keeps the projects organised, with regular updates. Identifying risks and challenges in advance ensuring a more effective project outcome.

Kylie Rowland

Director of Development

Kylie has an eye for detail and has gained a good knowledge of construction methodologies and materials.  She is a keen researcher with an academic background. Keeping fully informed so as to advise and provide options to stakeholders, colleagues and clients alike.  Her goal is to keep things simple and concise. Sharing ideas, opinions and options.  She comprehends the importance of adhering to policies, Acts, Standards and Codes.  She is interested in pursuing sustainability and broader outcomes. 

Previously in the care industry. She has excellent communication skills. Demonstrating active listening, diplomacy, empathy and trust. Understanding respect, privacy and confidentiality.  Kylie is approachable and open minded.
