Ashbrook Products - Company History

Ashbrook Products is owned and operated by Michael and Kylie Rowland who brought the company from England to their new home in New Zealand in 2003. The company was originally set up for producing and renovating wooden products from window frames to conservatories, coffee tables and kitchen dressers. When they got to NZ, Michael and Kylie decided to expand their business manufacturing a range of outdoor furniture.

A qualified boat builder, Michael makes to order and their furniture is built to be long-lasting and is suitable for all ages, families, large families and retired couples as well as public houses and restaurant gardens, homesteads and B&B-style accommodation. Having good quality garden furniture is essentially a lifestyle choice - it’s about relaxing and enjoying your surroundings. Michael also has skills in basic joinery, advance joinery and cabinet making.

Based at Leithfield in North Canterbury, Ashbrook Products has several workshops through out New Zealand. We sources all wood and oils locally and builds onsite at a purpose-built workshop. The company is currently manufacturing an amazing range of garden furniture, designed and built to suit the environment. The pieces are strong and sturdy and able to withstand adverse weather conditions in both enclosed and open areas.
